Kymeta in Redmond, WA is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer to lead RF sensing, radar, satellite communications, and spectrum awareness initiatives. You will design, integrate, and test RF solutions on digitally controlled, software-defined platforms, collaborating with FPGA, software, and systems teams.

The role requires hands-on lab work, field demonstrations, travel up to 10%, and expertise with RF test equipment, MATLAB, Python, and Linux. U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong RF engineering fundamentals with hands-on RF, FPGA, networking and software integration.
• Experience with SDR platforms and digital receiver architectures.
• Experience with RF test equipment and lab characterization.
• Excellent collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RF technical lead for RF sensing, radar, satellite communications and spectrum-aware systems.
• Develop RF architectures and signal chains for sensing, communications, and radar apps.
• Integrate electronically steered antennas, SDR platforms, digitizers, and FPGA processing.
• Lead RF measurement activities using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators and digitizers.
• Collaborate with systems, software and customer teams to deploy RF solutions.
• Support field demonstrations, lab testing, and customer engagements.
• Travel up to 10%.
