Job summary

ZEDEDA Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core Team to own AI-powered, microservice-based systems.

You will design and implement services, debug production issues, and shaping architecture as systems scale, with agents that integrate deeply into our infrastructure. This onsite role requires commuting to our San Jose office, with collaboration across teams and a focus on delivering real value to customers through reliable, scalable software and AI agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go for production services.
• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Understand large, evolving codebases quickly and contribute meaningfully within weeks
• Design, build, and operate services in a microservice and distributed systems environment
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across services, databases, message queues, and LLM integrations
• Drive architectural improvements — scalability, reliability, observability, and developer experience
• Design and develop AI agents that run natively in our infrastructure — owning architecture, tool integration, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with other engineers and use AI coding agents effectively to accelerate delivery
