Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture, design and implementation of EDA clusters. The role emphasizes scale, hybrid cloud/on‑prem deployments, and collaboration across NVIDIA teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.

The candidate should have 12+ years of experience, a BS in CS or related field, and a proven track record in cloud infrastructure, DevOps/SRE, and system-level hardware/software expertise. Equity and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

12+ years of overall experience.
Proven track record delivering cloud infra projects.
Experience with large-scale infrastructure, DevOps and/or SRE.
System-level experience with hardware and software.
Strong communication, ownership and proactive mindset.
Ability to work with multiple groups locally and abroad.

Responsibilities

Lead technical activities for new product introductions at scale with focus on hybrid deployments between cloud and on-prem.
Provide planning spanning infrastructure workflows, hardware, software release, workload orchestration and tuning.
Provide fast and creative solutions and write architecture specification.
Translate requirements to vision, architecture and roadmap.
Work with engineering teams across NVIDIA to integrate architectures from hardware to workloads.
