Job summary

JeffreyM Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join an early-stage startup team in Seattle, WA onsite. You will build the initial platform, iterate rapidly from zero to one, and own architectural decisions as the product scales.

You will work across frontend and backend, partnering with customers and non-technical stakeholders to deliver polished, enterprise-ready solutions with a strong emphasis on UI/UX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering across front-end and back-end
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, Trigger.dev
• Experience in startup or agency environments building early-stage products
• Strong instincts for product engineering and polished UX
• Experience designing and building API integrations
• Ability to operate independently and make technical decisions in ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Build and lead delivery of early platform versions for pilot customers
• Develop high-quality, intuitive user experiences with strong UI/UX focus
• Transform product requirements and front-end components into enterprise-grade app
• Design and implement API integrations with external partners and cloud infra
• Rapidly prototype and iterate to validate customer value
• Help define long-term architecture as the product scales
• Collaborate with customers and non-technical stakeholders to shape product features
• Contribute to broader product and business strategy as an early team member
• Lead technically as the organization grows
