Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer at DST Pharmacy Solutions, your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing and implementing applications and services supporting health plans and pharmacy benefit management customers.
2. Utilizing CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver application solutions.
3. Implementing industry best practices around microservices development.
4. Building reusable components, maintaining documentation, demo applications, and reviewing pull requests.
5. Exploring and prototyping new development approaches to meet business needs.
6. Writing code, completing programming tasks, and performing testing and debugging using current programming languages and technologies.
7. Designing and implementing applications with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, XML, JavaScript, RDBMS, and various Design Patterns.
8. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field plus 6 years of application development experience.

Must Have Skills

1. 4 years designing and developing microservices with Spring framework and multi-tenant databases.
2. 4 years with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
3. 5 years writing HTTP services in languages like Java/Spring or Go.
4. 4 years working with relational and document databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle).
5. 4 years learning new open-source software, APIs, and frameworks.
6. 5 years experience with object-oriented and cloud-native design.
7. 4 years experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bash, Git, and Jira.
8. Familiarity with SAFe agile methodologies.
