Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill AFB, UT.

The role involves applying advanced engineering to software-intensive systems across the full acquisition lifecycle, working with program offices, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver critical capabilities. The ideal candidate will have DoD acquisition experience, strong analysis and communication skills, and be able to operate in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
PhD with 5+ years, or Master’s with 10 years, or Bachelor’s with 15 years of relevant experience.
Experience with systems engineering processes across acquisition lifecycle.
Software development, integration, and testing in complex systems.
Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
Active Secret security clearance required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support DoW acquisition lifecycle phases from MSA through Operations & Support.
Apply software engineering principles to design, develop, integrate, and sustain software-intensive systems.
Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification for software and system-level capabilities.
Perform system design, integration, and technical analysis for performance and mission effectiveness.
Develop and review technical docs including specifications and interface control documents.
Support technical reviews and program milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).
Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and maintainability.
Provide input to acquisition documentation and program decisions.
