Job summary

Integrated Data Services is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and sustain enterprise applications used by DoD/DoW personnel for program and financial management. The stack includes Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Oracle, deployed to government-approved clouds with automated pipelines that meet security requirements.

We value problem-solving, end-to-end understanding, and disciplined engineering practices.

Qualifications

Seven+ years of professional software development experience with hands-on Java and Spring Boot.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in data science, computer science, software engineering, information systems, mathematics, or related field.
Experience with DoD/DoW environments, STIGs, RMF, or ATO is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own application capabilities from concept through production, including requirements, design, API development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Use AI tools to improve efficiency while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability.
Design and evolve database schemas, write and optimize Oracle SQL.
Contribute to Angular front-end work as needed.
Manage changes through CI/CD pipelines and target environments.
Write clean, well-tested code and provide peer reviews.
Investigate defects to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Participate in architecture decisions with clear rationale.
