Job summary

PakEnergy, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Delphi) to design, develop, and support ERP and accounting software for the energy sector. The role blends hands‑on development with technical leadership across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software engineering and 7+ years with Delphi and SQL Server, plus strong SDLC and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 7+ years of hands‑on Delphi and SQL Server development experience.
  • Strong understanding of object‑oriented design principles and software architecture.
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise‑scale business applications.
  • Experience building scalable, high‑availability, and high‑performance software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and client/server application architecture.
  • Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and mentor developers.

About the Role

PakEnergy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, enhance, and support critical ERP and accounting software applications serving the energy industry. This role combines hands‑on software development with technical leadership and requires deep expertise in Delphi, SQL Server, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver high‑quality, well‑documented software that meets performance, reliability, and maintainability standards. Working closely with product, business, and engineering teams, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor fellow engineers, promote development best practices, and help drive technical excellence across the organization. Success in this role requires strong problem‑solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a passion for building enterprise software solutions that power critical accounting and operational workflows within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
