Job summary

Cubic Corporation is seeking a seasoned software engineer to contribute across the software lifecycle, from design and development to testing and integration. You will work within Cubic Defense on complex systems requiring rigorous technical discipline.

The role requires a four-year technical degree with significant related experience or a master’s with a few years of experience, and eligibility for DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree plus five years minimum experience or a Master’s with at least three years.
• Must be eligible for DoD Security Clearance.
• Experience in software development, specification, design and development of software systems.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, C#, and related development tools.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments; familiarity with Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Participates in software development/engineering programs.
• Identifies, investigates and resolves technical issues.
• Contributes to software design and mitigates risks.
• Develops and executes software test methods and data requirements.
• Performs debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues.
• Interfaces with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
• Participates in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
