Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience converting MATLAB/Simulink models into production software.
• Experience developing clean, modular, reusable C++ software.
• Understanding memory management, object lifetimes, and DLL/shared-library development.
• Experience with distributed or component-based simulation frameworks and APIs.
• Experience implementing or integrating publisher/subscriber messaging architectures.
• Proficient with Git and collaboration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze MATLAB and Simulink models and translate algorithms into C++.
• Integrate C++ models into a Kubernetes-based distributed simulation environment.
• Develop and maintain C++ interfaces between simulation components (APIs, data formats, IPC).
• Develop automated regression tests to verify MATLAB/Simulink behavior vs. C++ implementations.
• Profile and debug simulation software for correctness, memory usage, concurrency, timing, and performance.
• Apply engineering practices: source control, branching, reviews, issue tracking, CI.
