Alteryx Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Dataplane team. This remote-friendly position focuses on building the next-generation cloud platform with a Go backend and a React/TypeScript frontend.

You will join a high-performing Data Plane Platform team, delivering scalable services and distributed systems while collaborating across the stack to create customer-facing platform management experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend experience with Go, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience operating production cloud applications on AWS or GCP.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native design.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, Git, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across application code, cloud infrastructure, and production environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with an ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Join the Data Plane Platform team to build the foundation of Alteryx's next-generation cloud platform; this is a full-stack role.
• Develop scalable backend services in Go and APIs; contribute to distributed systems and platform management experiences.
• Work across the stack using React and TypeScript to enhance customer-facing platform management tools.
• Collaborate with teammates on architecture, design, and engineering best practices while owning end-to-end quality.
