Alteryx is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Plane Platform team, building the next‑generation cloud platform. The role is full‑stack with Go on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.

You will design scalable services, APIs, and distributed systems while contributing to customer‑facing platform management experiences. Required: 5+ years in software development, Go/REST, AWS or GCP, React/TypeScript, microservices, CI/CD, testing, and strong problem‑solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building backend services using Go, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience developing and operating production cloud applications on AWS or GCP.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React or similar frontend framework.
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native design.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, Git, and modern software practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across app code, cloud infra, and production.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build the foundation of Alteryx's next-gen cloud platform as part of the Data Plane Platform team.
• Develop scalable backend services with Go and REST APIs; contribute to React/TypeScript frontend.
• Collaborate across stack and own components from design through production operations.
