Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Seven (7) years of Software Engineering Experience developing, using the following or comparable software technologies: Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/bash, Nexus, Maven, JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3, JUnit, and IDEs.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and CI/CD tools is highly desired.
• Experience with Agile software development and related frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work aligns with the chosen software development process.
