Job summary

ServiceNow in Mountain View is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Core Infrastructure to design and build highly reliable platform building blocks and to influence the roadmap of multiple platform areas.

Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable microservices in Python, Golang, Java or C++, and communicate complex concepts clearly to product partners. This role requires 5+ years of experience and a BS/MS in CS, with startup tempo and ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining products or platforms.
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Experience building and integrating with API-based platforms and have a good understanding of REST and other RPC based systems
• Experience building and maintaining microservices in Python/Golang/Java/C++
• Desire to work at a startup pace with a high degree of ownership
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex engineering concepts concisely and clearly to product and other cross-functional stakeholders
• High level of curiosity about engineering outside of your immediate discipline and an incessant desire to learn

Base Salary Range:$143,200 - $243,000
