Job summary

GROPYUS is building a core planning and configuration platform that enables customers to design and visualise multi-story timber buildings. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Configurator Team, you will own features from design through production, collaborating across disciplines.

You will work with React, Kotlin, and cloud platforms to develop interactive planning tools, 2D floor plans, and 3D visualisations while advancing AI-powered capabilities that enhance user workflows and cross-system

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and operating production software across frontend and backend systems.
• Strong experience with React and modern TypeScript-based web applications.
• Professional backend services development with Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating systems on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Interest in building AI-powered features and integrating AI capabilities into workflows.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Understanding of modern design patterns and collaboration practices (pair/mob programming).
• Experience with highly available, resilient systems is a plus.
• Experience with graphics/visualisation tools (Fabric.js, Three.js, WebGL) is a plus.
