Job summary

Code Metal, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to build a new generation of AI-enabled transpilation tools for embedded systems. You will bridge high-level algorithm development with deployment, designing robust, well-tested code translation pipelines.

Join a team focusing on Generative AI, static analysis, and formal verification, contributing to C++ code generation, code parsing, semantic analysis, and output validation within a scalable CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years C/C++ and 2+ years Python experience.
• Experience integrating Generative AI or LLMs into software pipelines (prompt engineering, output validation, AI-assisted code generation).
• Strong software delivery fundamentals: code review, testing, CI/CD, release management, and build systems.
• Experience with DSP algorithms and applications using Python/MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop well-tested, extensible code for code translation products, with a focus on correctness and maintainability.
• Architect and implement workflows spanning code parsing, semantic analysis, AI-assisted generation, and output validation.
• Collaborate with domain specialists to integrate formal verification and static analysis outputs into the code generation pipeline, and enhance C++ code generation.
• Partner with other engineering teams to build robust code repositories and CI/CD processes and integration testing.

• In this role, you will enhance and apply foundational libraries combining Generative AI, static analysis, and formal verification—building advanced code transpilation pipelines that bridge high-level algorithm development to embedded systems deployment
