Job summary

HP IQ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Services, to design and build scalable backend systems that power HP IQ’s intelligent ecosystem. You will contribute to a resilient services platform, embracing abstraction, virtualization, automation, and iterative development to enable rapid experimentation and innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Services, you will create scalable, reliable backend systems that support HP IQ's mission to transform the way people work. What You Might Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following established best practices.

Essential Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience building private cloud workflow.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.

Salary Range: $162,000 - $225,000

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)

The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
