Job summary

HP IQ is HP’s AI innovation lab. As a Software Engineer, Cloud Services, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power HP IQ’s mission to transform how people work.

Expect a strong emphasis on abstraction, virtualization, automation, and iterative development cycles, with collaboration across product and engineering teams. Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following established best practices.

About The Role

As a Software Engineer, Cloud Services, you will create scalable, reliable backend systems that support HP IQ's mission to transform the way people work. What You Might Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

Essential Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Experience building private cloud workflow.
• Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.

Salary

Salary: $107,400-$155,700

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)

The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills. At HP IQ, we offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:
