Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong fundamentals.
• 5+ years in software development roles.
• Expert knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3) and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management to map business requirements to technical stories and tasks.
• Perform research, analysis, design, and implementation for short- and long-term needs.
• Evaluate new technologies for feasibility and desirability to integrate into the platform.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based services on AWS (CodeBuild, Pipeline, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Ensure code adheres to accessibility, security, and performance standards.
• Optimize backend processes for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Write and execute unit and integration tests.
• Debug issues and root cause analysis across the technology stack.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with offshore/onshore teams.
