Mozilla Corporation is seeking a senior Platform Engineer to lead and shape the internal developer platform. The role focuses on owning infrastructure, guiding architectural decisions, and delivering agentic workflows to boost developer productivity.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in platform/SRE/DevOps roles, strong cloud-native expertise, and proven leadership. This position emphasizes collaboration across teams, policy proposals, and building value-driven platform features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Proven technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in ArgoCD, Grafana, Kubernetes, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, or Cloud Cost Optimization.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred; AWS also acceptable).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.
