Job summary

DomainTools is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will design and maintain web-scale data systems, mentor engineers, and drive continuous improvement across cloud-native infrastructure.

You will leverage Python, Rust, and GoLang with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver high-impact results, collaborate across teams, and accelerate productivity in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development with Python, GoLang, or Rust.
• Expertise in Rust and Python highly valued.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• 3+ years of experience with web-scale data engineering and data stores (OpenSearch, Postgres, CockroachDB, Spark).
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka.
• 5+ years of Linux/Unix environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate between teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and maintain web-scale data systems.
• Analyze new data sets to add value for customers.
• Provide code reviews, demos and technical requirements & documentation.
• Provide accurate time, capacity and cost estimates for projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and accelerate engineering productivity.
• Lead cross-team collaboration and technical leadership.
