Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Care Automation to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that support Customer Care workflows. 2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Software Engineer, Care Automation role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining backend services and integrations that support Customer Care Agents and other teams. This position is responsible for developing automation workflows involving multiple systems such as Salesforce, billing, identity verification, and AI-enabled case management. The role contributes to improving operational efficiency and customer support effectiveness through technical innovation and collaboration.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for customer care workflows
• Build and manage integrations across internal and external systems, including Salesforce and billing platforms
• Write automated tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and system reliability

4. Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience delivering scalable backend systems

• Experience with microservices and event‑driven architecture
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with large language models in production
• Familiarity with iPaaS platforms like Workato
• Previous work with Salesforce or CRM platforms
• Experience with React and GraphQL

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary ranges by geographic zone: Zone A $159,000—$254,000 USD, Zone B $138,000—$221,000 USD, Zone C $125,000—$200,000 USD
• Total compensation includes base salary, cash incentives (overtime, bonuses, commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits
