Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain Capital Markets applications using C#/.NET or C++. The role requires hands-on coding, architecture input, and collaboration with business users to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Hybrid onsite work in Charlotte, NC is expected. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building enterprise, high-availability systems, with strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of professional software development experience, including hands-on development using C#/.NET and/or C++.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-availability enterprise applications, including software architecture, integration, and distributed system design.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience developing solutions involving data processing, messaging, APIs, system integration, and relational databases.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in production environments, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite at the client location in Charlotte, NC a minimum of three (3) days per week.

  • Participate in the technical design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions for the Capital Markets business.

Day to Day job Duties:

  • Experience with real‑time data processing, messaging technologies, and distributed systems.

  • Experience mentoring developers or contributing to technical architecture and strategic technology initiatives.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [ 75 - 80 $ W2 hourly range]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
