Job summary

iCOMAT seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance in-house CAD/CAE/CAM software and automation interfaces for curved-fiber composite manufacturing. You will design and implement tools that help engineers optimize designs and manufacturing processes, interfacing with Windows and Linux environments.

You will join a small, senior software team with strong focus on reliability, maintainability, and rapid iteration from requirements through MVPs to production software.

Qualifications

Strong Python development experience (5+ years) for industrial use.
Experience with C++ or C# for engineering software.
Familiarity with NumPy/SciPy or similar libraries.
Experience on Windows and Linux desktop environments.
5+ years in engineering/manufacturing/scientific software.

Responsibilities

Develop novel approaches for design/manufacturing problems at scale.
Support CAD/CAE/CAM integration with in-house tools.
Build and maintain software tools for engineers across lifecycle.
Collaborate with domain experts to deliver robust, maintainable software.
