Job summary

Parsons seeks a Senior Software Developer to design and implement software across multiple languages for the Drone Armor program. You will lead components, services, and interfaces to meet mission requirements with a focus on observability and secure, maintainable code.

You will guide peers, apply best practices in telemetry and metrics, and ensure robust performance in mission-critical environments. A Secret security clearance is required for this federal role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electronics Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience.
• Alternatively, 8 years of relevant software development experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software across multiple languages to support Drone Armor capabilities.
• Lead design and implementation of software components, services, and interfaces per requirements.
• Instrument telemetry and metrics for observability, health, and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in mission-critical systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote best practices.
