Job summary

Anakim Consulting Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (C/Python) to design and implement software components in an AWS enterprise cloud, applying Infrastructure as Code practices.

You will work within a cross-functional team across the full SDLC in a DevOps environment, with cloud-native architectures as a priority. Candidates with experience in image processing or satellite ground systems are highly desired.

Qualifications

• Experience applying IaC to support cloud-based solutions.
• Proficient with AWS enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong DevOps and SDLC collaboration.
• Experience with image processing or satellite ground systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dynamic DevSecOps team designing, implementing, and maintaining software components for complex systems.
• Lead and/or significantly contribute to solutions development, working from established design artifacts.
• Support solutions development across full lifecycle from planning to implementation.
• Participate in test development, execution, review, documentation, and reporting for unit, integration, and system tests.
• Conduct analysis and manage change requests according to Configuration Management processes.
• Apply analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and designs for software modules.
• Serve as participant and/or facilitator for design and code reviews.
• Assist with other duties across the full SDLC as assigned.
