Job summary

Unisity, LLC in Annapolis Junction, Maryland seeks a Software Engineer L3 to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems for government-grade projects. The role requires a strong background in C++, Kubernetes (K8), and Python 3.0 with Git and CI/CD practices, and on-site work in Maryland.

The ideal candidate has 20 years of SWE experience and a BS in Computer Science or related field. A TS/SCI security clearance is required for the position.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems and algorithms.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Serve as team lead and coordinate software development efforts across projects.
• Design and implement software components, integrate with databases, and improve documentation and standards.
• Develop data queries and review system performance to meet requirements.
