Data Device Corporation (DDC) leads in high-reliability connectivity, power, and control for aerospace and defense. The Senior Software Engineer will architect and deliver Windows/Linux software for advanced hardware, collaborating across teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Candidate brings 7+ years in software, deep C/C++ proficiency, and experience with FPGA-based systems and toolchains. Role is onsite in Albuquerque, NM with exposure to regulated environments and SDK development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, development, verification and maintenance of Windows and Linux based software for advanced hardware systems.
• Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Lead technical design reviews, mentor junior/mid-level engineers through code reviews and guidance.
• Identify and resolve customer technical issues with software applications and SDK.
