Job summary

Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help scale our technology stack. You will design and implement robust backend services in Node.js/TypeScript, build responsive frontend components with React, and work across teams to deliver features that enhance the merchant-to-consumer journey.

You will mentor peers, drive best practices, and contribute to scalable, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Experience building scalable, distributed web applications in production.
• Strong understanding of full-stack principles with TypeScript, Node.js and React.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend services and frontend interfaces.
• Tackle complex technical challenges across the stack and drive innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to plan and deliver high-quality features.
• Maintain code quality through testing and best practices.
