Creative Chaos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on BigCommerce to develop, enhance, and maintain ecommerce platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams and clients to implement innovative solutions for online retail.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP or Node.js) skills, RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile practices. You will mentor juniors and help shape robust, scalable code and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, or related field.
• 4+ years in software development with BigCommerce focus.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with PHP or Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies (JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web apps on the BigCommerce platform.
• Integrate third-party services and build custom apps.
• Analyze client requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve UI/UX.
• Implement robust, scalable, and secure code.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
