Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building advanced software and AI systems for national security. The Software Engineer will contribute to a small, innovative team, prototyping state-of-the-art software in an agile setting and delivering high-performance solutions for mission-critical applications.

Candidates should have extensive C/C++, Python, and Matlab experience, plus ML and applied math skills, with a TS/SCI clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or other technical field (advanced degree strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Experience with Big data/NoSQL/database technologies.
• Software engineering: design, algorithms, testing, optimization.
• Machine learning: supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, classification.
• Applied mathematics: differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, random processes.
• Engineering: controls, estimation theory, digital signal processing.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the direction of a small team with your expertise and ideas.
• Prototype state-of-the-art software solutions in an agile development environment.
• Implement high-performance software spanning from tactical systems to web applications.
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments and analytics to quantify value.
• Engage with customers to ensure successful outcomes for mission-critical needs.
• Work with all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Explain technical concepts to colleagues and customers.
