Jobtailor in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Python Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain APIs and data pipelines that power our SaaS platform for clinical workflows.

You will collaborate across product, design, ML, and infrastructure teams, apply AWS tooling, and uphold coding standards with rigorous reviews, tests, and documentation. This on-site role requires strong communication and problem-solving as the team works in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of full life cycle development experience.
• Experience designing and building Python-based applications using FastAPI or Django.
• Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Ability to collaborate with a distributed team and work autonomously.
• Problem-solving in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to attend client-facing meetings and explain technical concepts.
