  • Author and maintain robust RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation and GraphQL services, ensuring clean schema design, versioning discipline, and performance at scale
  • Architect and evolve event-driven systems using queueing/streaming technologies, ensuring reliable message delivery, exactly‑once semantics, and graceful failure handling
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests to achieve agreed‑upon test coverage targets, reduce escaped defects, and support reliable production releases
  • Manage cloud‑hosted environments (Vercel, AWS, or Azure), including networking, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), autoscaling, and cost optimization
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines that enforce quality gates, accelerate delivery, and reduce the risk of production deployments
  • Make principled architectural decisions that balance pragmatism with long‑term system health, articulating trade‑offs clearly to peers and leadership
  • Lead technical design reviews and code reviews, holding the team to a high bar for correctness, performance, testability, and maintainability
  • Identify and systematically eliminate technical debt, improving velocity and reducing operational burden
  • Collaborate closely with Product to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Debug and resolve complex production incidents quickly, contributing to blameless postmortems and durable remediation
  • Mentor and sponsor junior and mid‑level engineers, accelerating their growth through pairing, thoughtful feedback, and knowledge sharing
