Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud-based applications and APIs powering customer-facing and internal platforms in Phoenix. This role focuses on back-end development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver modern digital experiences.

You will work with AWS, serverless architectures, and microservices to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, including API design and data integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of software development experience (4-5+ years considered with depth).
• Experience building cloud-based applications, preferably AWS.
• Hands-on with serverless technologies and distributed systems.
• Strong background in API design, development, and integration.
• Experience with Python, Node.js; frontend with React, GraphQL, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and modern delivery practices.
• Excellent communication to work with business stakeholders.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring developers, and conducting code reviews.

Required Qualifications
