Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web apps using TypeScript, AWS, and Java/Spring Boot. You will collaborate with product owners, analysts, QA, and architects to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

This remote role offers flexibility and may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices depending on project needs. Applications accepted until Oct 14, 2026; strong TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL experience are essential.

Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript)

About the role:

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and building enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications that power scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for our client. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering delivery team and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Architects, and clients.

In this role, you will

• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability, writing unit, integration, and automated test cases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, support DevOps activities, and troubleshoot production issues to provide timely resolutions.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until October 14, 2026

• The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $94,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
