Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Cloud/Data Engineer to align business strategy with software solutions in the United States. You will propose, design and code software solutions to address complex needs and oversee documentation while leading complex problem solving.

Users require hands-on Python, IaC, AWS CDK or Terraform experience, plus 5+ years in the field. Certifications are often required and a university degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, Lake Formation and DataZone.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, AWS CDK, and PySpark.
• University / college degree.
• 5+ years of industry‑relevant experience.
• Specific certifications are often required.

• Aligns business strategy with software solutions.
• Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Oversees technical and procedural documentation required.
• Leads complex problem solving.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
