Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build, deliver, and maintain a secure, scalable authentication and authorization platform used across AWS services.

You will tackle challenging technical problems, write design docs, and collaborate with diverse teams to drive performance and reliability at massive scale. You will work on high-impact, always-on software, with a focus on security and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale distributed software using C#/C++/Java/Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging technical problems at every layer of the stack.
• Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain software to improve performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Build high-quality, highly available, always-on products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems from first principles.
