Job summary
Real Time Consulting (RTC) seeks a Software Engineer for Avionics Display Applications in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on development, system integration, and verification of displays software for the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in avionics software, DO-178B/C experience, and strong C++ skills, plus design and test experience and excellent communication. This on-site position offers opportunities in safety-critical aviation software engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or related technical area.
- 5+ years Software Development experience for avionics.
- Experience developing software applications for avionics displays.
- DO-178B/C compliant development experience.
- Experience designing software architectures.
- Object oriented software design experience.
- Ability to code in C++.
- Experience creating test cases from system requirements.
- Experience with safety critical RTOS.
- Knowledge of software configuration and change management.
