The Briefed is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Avatar Animation team to build experiences on the Roblox platform. You will work with the Roblox game engine, focusing on animation tech, tools, and pipelines to enhance usability and performance for developers and players worldwide.

You should be proficient in C++ and have experience with character animation systems and game engines. Prior animation for games or interactive experiences is highly valued, with a strong foundation in 3D

• 8+ years of experience in character animation, game engines, and tools.
• Strong C++ skills with high-quality, performant code.
• Experience with animation for games or interactive experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop experiences that push the platform's quality bar.
• Analyze animation tech and determine project needs.
• Write documentation on issues, improvements, and feature requests for character animation tech.
• Collaborate with gameplay engineers to implement gameplay interactions using animation tech.
• Implement innovative solutions and contribute to larger avatar animation features.
• Work with internal content teams and community developers to improve Roblox animation state.
