Job summary

Global Connect Technologies in Dearborn, MI is seeking an automotive embedded software engineer to design and implement software in a FreeRTOS environment, emphasizing reliability and real-time performance. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams, perform code reviews, optimize memory usage, and integrate Ethernet stacks ( SOME/IP, TCP/IP, UDP ) while ensuring ISO 26262 and ASPICE compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
• Hands-on AUTOSAR experience (Classic or Adaptive).
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP, DoIP.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and low-level debugging.
• Experience with DaVinci Configurator/Developer, EB Tresos, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Understanding CAN, LIN, and FlexRay (preferred).
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts and MCUs (Infineon, NXP, Renesas).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
