Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer in Discovery to solve problems across networking, autonomy, and robotics, delivering pragmatic, scalable software. You will work with customers to deploy solutions and set technical direction for teams.

You will mentor peers, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to end-to-end software delivery with a focus on mission success.

Qualifications

Strong engineering background from industry or school (CS/Software Eng, Math, or Physics).
Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact.
Experience making architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and engagment with peers while delivering results.
Currently possesses and can maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop tools extending Anduril's Lattice OS to solve unique customer problems in command and control, cyber assets, planning, and remote asset management.
Collaborate with customers, product designers, and engineering teams to shape and build new software products and applications.
Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission-critical code in a tight feedback loop with end users.
Travel up to 25% to participate in customer events and deploy capabilities in real-world scenarios.
Contribute to development of existing software services across Anduril, creating reusable components for multiple product lines.
