Job description

We’re defining what it means to build and deliver the most extraordinary sports and entertainment experiences. Our global team is trailblazing new markets, developing cutting-edge products, and shaping the future of responsible gaming.

Here, “impossible” isn’t part of our vocabulary. You’ll face some of the toughest but most rewarding challenges of your career. They’re worth it. Channeling your inner grit will accelerate your growth, help us win as a team, and create unforgettable moments for our customers.

The Crown Is Yours

As a Senior Automation Software Engineer, you'll design and implement technological solutions that automate repetitive, manual IT tasks, data movement, and reduce areas of friction. This role is central to transforming our Enterprise IT ecosystem, driving innovation through software engineering practices typically reserved for product teams and leveraging newer AI technologies. You'll work cross-functionally with IT operations, InfoSec, Compliance, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver AI solutions and automation that reduces toil, improves user experience, and enhances our internal systems' scalability and resilience.

What you’ll do as a Senior Automation Software Engineer
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and workflows focused on the IT environment using modern engineering practices and technologies.

  • Own the full software development lifecycle for automation projects—from planning and architecture to implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Create and support APIs, system integrations, and orchestration pipelines using multiple technologies like Node.js, Python, or PowerShell, and integration tools like Boomi or Workato.

  • Evaluate, test, and implement newer AI-based solutions to increase IT efficiency and reduce user friction.

  • Collaborate closely with IT and security teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions.

  • Develop front-end portals or dashboards (e.g., with React or similar) to give IT and business users visibility and control over automated processes.

  • Align coding standards, testing practices, and deployment pipelines with our current engineering practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions with robust logging, monitoring, and alerting.

What you’ll bring
  • Experience as a technical lead or key contributor on software or automation teams.

  • Strong programming skills in Node.js or Python; experience with PowerShell or Bash scripting is a plus.

  • Experience deploying scalable, reliable, and secure Generative AI applications using OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Gemini.

  • Deep understanding of APIs, system integration patterns, and automation frameworks.

  • Strong relational database skills (SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar).

  • Front-end development experience with React, TypeScript, or similar frameworks is preferred.

  • Experience working with enterprise tools such as Workday, Jira, Microsoft 0365, Google Workspace, or other SaaS platforms is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools.

  • Passion for operational excellence and a commitment to reducing manual effort through well-designed automation.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly to meet evolving business needs.
