Amazon in Redmond, WA is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer for the Aurora Storage team. You will own design and development of large-scale storage components powering Aurora MySQL/PostgreSQL, enabling fast, reliable cloud database services.

This role requires strong coding, leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills, with a startup-like pace inside AWS. You will contribute to scalable storage systems and help shape product direction for the Aurora family.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• Experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
