We are looking for a Software Engineer who has a passion for leading and building exceptional solutions that deliver and fulfill the needs of our customers. This Software Engineer will help drive development into the next growth phase. They are the core coders of the systems, owning the implementation, scalability, and stability of the product. They will collaborate with Product Management and other Engineers to design, build, and deliver firewall management solutions that simplify complex firewall security operations. Additionally, they will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to understand customer problems and develop products that meet their needs.

Throughout the product lifecycle, the engineer will be involved from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and deployment. Our organization supports agility and creativity through small, dynamic teams, and encourages movement among teams to share knowledge and skills, providing exposure to various aspects of each product.

About The Role

1. Continuously deliver customer value through software feature development.
2. Write maintainable code in a professional agile environment, utilizing source control, continuous integration/deployment, and shortened release cycles.
3. Participate in code reviews and team discussions, offering technical insights.
4. Implement new features and support existing services/applications.
5. Tackle challenging problems by designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving services and applications.
6. Evaluate modern technologies and approaches to enhance our development processes.
7. Stay updated with new systems and tools as the platform evolves.
8. Apply principles, theories, and concepts from relevant disciplines, with a working knowledge of related fields.
9. Exercise judgment within established practices and policies to select methods and techniques for solutions.
