Job summary

CAC I International Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design distributed software architectures for embedded RF systems.

Responsibilities include creating high‑performance C++ frameworks for inter‑processor communication and defining software interfaces across x86, ARM, and FPGA domains. You will document architecture decisions with UML diagrams and sequence charts and collaborate with FPGA and signal processing teams to optimize data pipelines.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years in embedded systems or high‑performance computing on Linux
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded real‑time systems, including concurrency and memory management
  • Experience designing software architectures and documenting diagrams/architecture specifications
  • Experience with multi‑threaded development and debugging race conditions in inter‑processor and microservice architectures
  • Familiarity with modern build systems and DevOps tools (Conan, Docker, GitLab or similar)
  • Experience with performance analysis and debugging tools (VTune, perf, gdb, valgrind)
