Role Description

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to enhance Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, GPU integration, and community engagement to meet Apple’s service needs.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with teams to develop features for Kubernetes clusters, focusing on container orchestration and GPU usage.
2. Improve scalability, availability, and performance of Kubernetes-based services.
3. Design and evolve architecture to support growth while ensuring operational excellence.
4. Collaborate with SRE teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience building and scaling core components of Kubernetes or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Golang.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to lead projects from conception to production.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
• Experience enabling GPUs and related infrastructure on Kubernetes.

Pay & Benefits

The salary range is $143,100 to $264,200, dependent on skills and experience. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, stock options, educational reimbursement, and more. Learn more at Apple Benefits.
