Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Engineer on the API Platform & Client Tooling team to design and build the code-generation pipeline that turns a single proto contract into Go SDKs, CWIC commands, and Terraform resources.

You will own components end to end—from proto and API contracts to generated artifacts—while raising the developer-experience bar across the surface and partnering with other teams to ship consistent APIs.

Qualifications

• Production experience writing Go.
• Experience designing and evolving APIs: versioning, backwards compatibility, and deprecation.
• Experience building or maintaining client tooling: SDKs, CLIs, or infrastructure providers.

Responsibilities

• Own components of our API services framework and its generated artifacts: proto-driven code generation that emits Go SDKs, CWIC commands, and Terraform resources from a single source of truth.
• Design and ship proto and API contracts, applying schema evolution and backwards-compatibility discipline, and help author and enforce CoreWeave API Standards in CI.
• Champion developer experience across the CLI, SDKs, and Terraform provider: ergonomics, release cadence, and the quality bars that make every other CoreWeave team faster.
• Work across authentication and identity, understanding how auth contracts flow from proto into generated clients.
• Act consultatively: help other teams design and ship good APIs and services.
• Drive team-level technical initiatives to completion and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
