Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE or equivalent.
• 7+ years of top‑performing individual contributor experience.
• Strong C/C++ skills including algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with large/legacy codebases and refactor judgement.
• Strong grounding in big‑data modeling and distributed design.
• Proven ability to drive software development in Agile environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers to raise team practices.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking, with elegant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation of the Apex reporting platform for hyperscale deployments.
• Design and implement solutions in a large C++ codebase.
• Model data and tune query performance across databases for fast queries.
• Balance refactoring with delivery needs and code health.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's overall quality.
• Advocate for good architecture and long-term health of the codebase.
• Own features end to end with well-tested code.
• Use AI-assisted tools for design, reviews, refactoring and testing.
