Description

SFI is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a focus on results-driven UI/front-end development, specializing in building dynamic, responsive, and scalable web applications using Angular.

Primary Responsibilities:

Software Design & Architecture: Lead teams of developers in the design and architecture of software applications.

• Code Review & Standards: Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and continuous improvement.
• Debugging & Resolution: Debug and resolve technical issues, providing timely fixes and improvements.
• Documentation: Contribute to the documentation of technical processes, code, and user interfaces.

Front-End Development:

• Develop and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular (v8+ or latest versions).
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality front-end code.
• Implement reusable, modular components and maintain state management.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 code following best practices.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing and end-to-end testing using tools like Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.

Back-End Development:

• API Integration: RESTful API development with NodeJS.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Support the development and deployment pipelines through CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), or six (6) years of equivalent work experience.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong UI/UX background, with a focus in Angular.
• Experience with server-side rendering (Angular Universal) and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Project Experience:

• Must have experience working on a database migration project.
• Must have experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Must have experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps environments.

Soft Skills:

• Strong work ethic, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The salary for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 annually.
• SFI maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations.
