Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
• Minimum 3 years testing, maintaining, or launching software applications; 1 year designing and structuring software programs.
• Minimum 2 years growing or optimizing Android Frameworks/Applications.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or device improvement code to optimize the battery life of devices.
• Participate in or lead architectural reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on options for optimizing power consumption.
• Review Android frameworks and services code contributed by other engineers, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality practices.
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or device issues, debug, and resolve by analyzing issue sources and impact on hardware or services.
